Understanding Lightboxes
Lightboxes are a great way to organize your PixelSquid objects for different projects or group large amounts of objects for easier navigation. Lightboxes are very easy to use and manage, and only have a few minor limitations:
Your account can have a total of 25 individual lightboxes. This includes two permanent lightboxes:
Purchases Lightbox: These are objects that would have been in your lightbox prior to subscriptions (10.17.16) and/or objects you may have bought a la carte. Objects in this lightbox cannot be deleted. If you did not have objects before subscriptions and/or have not purchased a la carte objects, you will not see this Lightbox.
Photoshop Lightbox: This is the default lightbox that allows you to immediately start adding new object to use in Photoshop.
The remaining 23 User Lightboxes can be created as you need them.
Each lightbox can contain a total of 150 objects.
Using Lightboxes While Browsing

- You can create new lightboxes here in the dropdown. Click add new, give the new lightboxes a name and click the +.

Managing Your Lightboxes
- Managing your lightboxes can be done quickly and easily by clicking the My Lightboxes link in the navbar at the top of any page. This will bring you to the My Lightboxes page, where you’ll find all of your lightboxes organized by latest created.
- Click any of the lightboxes to enter that lightbox and begin editing.
- Click the Add button to create a new lightbox. On the following page, name your new light box and click OK. You are now placed into the empty lightbox. Start searching the catalog to fill your new lightbox.
Once you enter a chosen lightbox page, you can begin editing that lightbox.
- Click to return to the My Lightboxes page that contains all of your lightboxes.
- Hovering over an object in the lightbox gallery will initiate the Remove button. Click the button if you want to remove the individual object.
- Clicking the EDIT button will initiate a drop-down with a few different options.
• Edit Name will allow you to change the name of this lightbox.
• Clear Lightbox removes all objects from this lightbox, but does not delete the Lightbox.
• Delete Lightbox removes all objects from this lightbox and permanently deletes the Lightbox from the My Lightboxes page.
